Meta-Coaching
The process of Meta-Coaching unites the coachees Intelligent Quotient, Emotional Quotient. and Spiritual Quotient (From Donna Zophar's triangle of IQ, EQ, SQ), so that they all work together as a systemic whole to create greater intelligence and understanding, bringing their knowing, feelings and purpose together, for a more focused and significance intent. In 'Spiral Dynamics' this new stage is called Value Quotient*, we call this emerging Gestalts. This emerges when older thinking patterns can no longer handle new complexity that they have helped to create. Now something new can appear! *VQ from 'Steps of Social Development' by Don Edward Beck.
Meaning
We seek to understand the meaning a person makes of his or her experience, because the meaning someone makes out of his or her experiences will determine the feelings, emotions, state of mind and reacting to the world someone does.

The models we use
Communication - The NLP Communication model:
Known as the best communication model around and an effective change tool as well. It supplies the heart of modeling exceptional behavior, be it positive or negative. And helps greatly to understand how a person develops his or her remarkable behavior.
Reflexivity - The Meta-States model of reflexivity:
This model allows for stepping back and quality checking beliefs, attitudes, self-image, understanding, cause-effect relationships and much more. With the Meta-States model, we work intentionally and mindfully with the "logical levels" of the mind. We can track the fluid and ever-changing psycho-logical levels up and down the spiraling of consciousness and how a person has built their beliefs and belief systems. This is essential for understanding how someone creates his or her reality, what frames of mind govern and rule ones behaving and emoting. To understand motivation one must understand and track the higher levels of the mind. We can always think and feel about our thinking and feeling!
Change - The Axes of Change model:
The Axes of Change model introduces something truly revolutionary into the field of coaching- the first non-therapeutic model of change . Based on how self actualizing individuals change, it is also the only coaching model in use to date that does not presuppose relapse by the coachee or facilitate resistance .
Systems dynamics - The Matrix model:
As a cognitive-behavioral model, it enables us to track simultaneously the multi-dimensional nature of our mental-and-emotional processing and experiencing. Using systems thinking and dynamics, it enables a Meta-Coach to work on multiple levels at the same time.
Actualizing potentials - The Self-Actualizing Quadrants:
The Self Actualizing Quadrants are a model for closing the knowing-doing gap. For profiling where a coachee is or is not in terms of their goals or objectives. Some examples may be, 'do you know more than you seem to do' or 'do you do a lot, but are not quite sure why'. In addition, we work with the Self-Actualization model, a model of healthy, productive, and fully functioning humans. It models people who have moved through the developmental stages and who are ready to fully live, work, relate, communicate, and contribute in a positive and vibrant way.
